iSentric Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian end-to-end mobile banking solutions provider, has announced that it has been appointed by Al Rajhi Banking & Investment Corporation Malaysia Berhad to provide the bank with its Mobility2U-Mobile Banking Solution Services. The company was chosen after a worldwide rigorous search for the best of providers.

The Mobility2U-Mobile Banking Solution will be deployed in three phases. Upon its completion, Al Rajhi Bank customers will be able to access their bank accounts and make transactions via their mobile phones without having to make any calls. The service will fully utilise SMS and Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) to make transactions like balance enquiry, fund transfer and purchase of pre-paid top-ups.

“With Mobility2U-Mobile Banking Solutions, our customers are able to conduct transactions from the comfort of their own mobile phone and are guaranteed safe and secure transactions as each mobile phone is accorded a mobile pin only made available to the user,” said Al Rajhi Bank CEO, Ahmad Rahman.

Security features include J2ME’s enterprise-level security encryption capability, which will prevent any attempts of fraud. It can also encrypt data flow from mobile devices to telco’s WAP gateways.
